I may or may not have just signed up to take the online test to become a contestant on Jeopardy. I’m a beast on my sofa so we’ll see just how smart I am (or am not) on February 8th. YAY!

OK! Now that I have your attention… DC peeps: I think there may still be a few tix left for my show tonite at the DC Improv. The Post Express did a plug today and I did a spot on Fox Morning News on Tuesday so we’ve been packed out so far. New Years Eve Fun!!!
If you’re gonna be in or around DC or are thinking about heading this way to celebrate New Years, might I suggest that you buy tickets to see me headline the DC Improv that weekend. We have shows Wed. thru Friday, and the NEW YEARS EVE dinner shows are gonna be SUPER fun! Great food, lots of drink. And you can watch me stay sober so I can work while you toast and get toasted. I seem to have published a blog a few hours ago that I was still just working on. I pulled it down. But the fact that no one notified me of this means that either anyone who read it thought it was complete and I’m just a terrible blogger OR that I have very few regular readers.
Neither option makes me feel good.
My plan was to work on it overnite and post it tomorrow. But now I doubt I will. That’s what I get for trying to blog more regularly and plan ahead. But the reality is, no one’s probably reading this either.

I was minding my own business in the park today, when I was assaulted by a gang of misguided, at-risk mosquitoes. They attacked my face mercilessly… Do you see all those lumps on my forehead and cheeks? It looks like somebody jacked me up. If I had a boyfriend, I swear someone would be calling the police on him right now. I want those mosquitoes brought up on charges! My girl Mel said I should put calamine lotion on them, and another Facebook friend said I should use Blue Star ointment — both great suggestions, seeing as how I was looking for something white and/or shiny to draw more attention to the golf balls on my face for my show tomorrow. :(
Hateful-ass DC skeeters… I guess it’s just the way they were hatched.
